WOLOLOW 2.0 has a disc-shaped body, oval windows and slender legs. Designboom featured the project on 31 October as a creator submission; the team’s website links to Kickstarter. Its makers announce replaceable LED lighting.

Visually, a simple collision of scales does the work. The shape promises an expedition, while the object will live beside a book and an alarm clock. That gap makes it amusing: a domestic ritual gets a small stage set for a grand future. Sometimes space exploration just needs to help you find your slippers.

An appealing form doesn’t settle questions about glare, switch access or light beside a pillow. Those need a real unit. This is a production proposal, not our review of a finished object. The team’s website mixes information about lamp generations, so we’re not carrying the older version’s specifications over to the new one.
